How I learned to work the Word.
Are you on the path of obtaining your heart’s desire because of faith filled words, or are you being held in bondage by the words you speak? Work the Word and watch the doors of opportunity swing wide open for you.
It used to really other me to see non-believers using the principles in God’s Word and prospering incredibly from them, but they wouldn’t acknowledge Christ as the source of their blessings. They would rename God as “The Universe”, or the Holy Spirit as “energy” or “source”, but never acknowledging God in the process.
The Revelation
I remember listening to a speaker who gave credit to a famous author as the original source of “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.” I could feel the blood boiling in my veins as I wanted to shout out, “He didn’t make that up, it’s scripture! It’s in the Word, and if you read your bible you’d know that!!!” Throughout his talk he went on to quote several other scriptures pertaining to our thought life and how to manifest the things you desire, never once giving credit to the real source–the Word of God. I remember asking God, “How could they get away with this and still prosper? The promises are for Believers.” It was then that He really began to show me that His Word is filled with principles and laws that will work for anyone who believes and follows them.
Too many people are programmed to believe that you they are just average or can only go so far in life, but if you shift your thinking and understand that all of the promises of God are yes and amen, then you can ask and receive, seek and find, knock and have that door opened just for you.
Matthew 7:7-8 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.”
